When people play Farmville, they want to be able to grow as many crops as possible on their land, so they might plow almost all of it. It\’s a strategy that seems to make a lot of sense, at least on the surface. Unfortunately, after they finish plowing all that land, Farmville players might discover something that makes them stop dead in their tracks.
They realize that, with the number of coins they have left, they can\’t afford to purchase seeds to plant in all the plots that they plowed! This is not a fun situation.
You don\’t have to be that person, though. If you want to ensure that you\’ll always have enough coins to purchase crops for ALL of your plots, you just have to do a bit of thinking ahead.
It\’s not hard, really. First, just count how many plowed plots you have or plan to have, and then multiply that number by the amount of coins it takes to plow a plot, which is 15. For example, if you have 96 plots, the math will look like this: 96 plots x 15 coins = 1,440 coins to plow all plots.
But wait! Don\’t start plowing yet! That\’s only the first part of the planning process!
If you were to start to plow now, you might not be able to afford to plant crops in all your plots. That would nullify the importance of the planning process!
The good news is that you\’re nearly done. The next step is to figure out what you want to plant.
Let\’s take strawberries, for example. Strawberries cost 10 coins, so if you have 96 plots, it will cost 960 coins to plant them in all of your plots.
The last part of the planning process is just to take your plowing cost and add it to your crop cost. The costs from our examples are 1,440 coins and 960 coins, respectively. If the number you get from adding those two costs together exceeds the number of coins that you have in the bank, then you know you can\’t afford to plant as many crops as you had hoped. Instead, you might want to only plow and plant half of your field.
All that explanation above basically boils down to this formula: (Plot Number x 15) + (Plot Number x Crop Cost) = Total Cost for Plowing and Planting.
Running out of coins before you have a chance to plant is a frustrating situation. But it\’s also an unnecessary situation. If you just take a few minutes to plan and go through the math before you plow and plant crops, you\’ll be able plow and plant smartly, which means saving coins. Give it a try!

How To Find Farmville Neighbors Fast

Farmville is meant to be a social experience. You\’re able to add your friends as neighbors in the game, which makes them able to help you out on your farm.
Maybe you\’re a lone wolf. There are a lot of games in which playing by yourself creates a fun and rewarding experience, but Farmville is not one of them. So, if you\’re a lone wolf, Farmville might not be the game for you.
But maybe you enjoy interacting with other people in games. If this is true, then Farmville is a great choice for you. Having neighbors in the game doesn\’t just make it a more enjoyable experience, it also gives you the opportunity to earn coins without too much difficulty.
Farmville gives you the ability to travel to your neighbors\’ farms. Upon doing this, you\’re able to complete a number of different tasks on their land once each day, like applying fertilizer to their crops, taking the ol\’ plow to their fields, and collecting the harvests from their trees or animals. Keep in mind, though, that you can only complete five actions (i.e. you could apply fertilizer three times and plow twice).
Helping out is worthwhile, too — you\’ll get 10 coins and one XP for every plot to which you apply fertilizer. This has the potential to earn you a lot of coins and XP! How does 2,500 coins and 250 XP sound? That\’s what you\’ll get if you take helping your neighbors to the max. In Farmville, it\’s possible to apply fertilizer to five plots for one neighbor, and you can do the same thing for up to 50 neighbors. The math adds up.
So now you can probably see the benefits of having neighbors. But how do you get them? The first way to get neighbors is also the easiest way — just go to the \”My Neighbors\” tab when you\’re playing the game. From this tab, you can see a list of all your Facebook friends that play Farmville, and there\’s a button for each person that allows you to send them a neighbor request. Just press it! Chances are they\’ll be happy to be your neighbor.
The second way to get neighbors is to go to the official Farmville Forums. One section of the forums is dedicated solely to finding neighbors, and it\’s aptly named, too — it\’s called \”Finding Neighbors.\” If you go to this section, you\’ll find tons of people hoping for others to add them as neighbors, so all you\’ll have to do is add them as a Facebook friend and then as a Farmville neighbor.
One other way to increase your number of neighbors is by searching for and going to the Farmville groups that Facebook has. Lots of people on these groups are looking for neighbors, so once you find them, simply add them as a friend on Facebook and then as a neighbor in Farmville. On top of that, if you join the group, you can create the potential of other people adding YOU by leaving \”Add Me\” as a comment on the group\’s wall.
The last way to acquire neighbors is to personally invite them. Select your friends on Facebook that you think might enjoy playing Farmville, and then send them a private message asking them to start playing the game and become your neighbor. This definitely isn\’t the quickest way to acquire neighbors, but it\’s possibly the most rewarding because doing it this way means you\’ll know your neighbors personally.
Give the methods above a shot and you\’re guaranteed to get neighbors. In fact, keep at it, and you might be surprised by just how many neighbors you get! And when you have lots of neighbors, you can make lots of coins and earn lots of XP by offering them all a helping hand on their farm once per day — up to a maximum of 2,500 coins and 250 XP!
Add Farmville Neighbors – Jeff Farmer has tons of neighbors and would like to add you to them. He\’s also willing to share his strategies with you, and they\’ll help you to acquire large amounts of neighbors FAST! To get his tips, stop by his website, Farmville FunClub.
Using Farmville Crop Rotation To Fly Through The Starting Levels

Are you a new Farmville player not completely happy with your farm? Perhaps it seems really hard to you to level up any faster. To make matters worse, when you visit your Farmville neighbors or talk to your friends about their farms, they all have well-decorated, gigantic farms filled with plentiful crops and animals — and you can\’t even afford a whitewash fence.
If that sounds like you, don\’t give up yet! There\’s a secret easy Farmville technique that will help you to turn profits faster than you can say \”free coins!\” It\’s so easy that you can even do it overnight, while you SLEEP!
The secret is a Farmville technique that\’s somewhat based off of a real-life agricultural system called crop rotation. It works a bit differently in Farmville than it does in the real world, though, so all you really need to know is that Farmville crop rotation helps you make the highest weekly profit as possible from your crops.
Before we delve into the details of the system, you need to know that it has two prerequisites, which are that you sleep eight hours a night and that you have a pretty good amount of time each day to play Farmville.
The procedures for this system are pretty straightforward. Upon awakening after your eight hours of sleep, plant and harvest strawberries for the entire day. Since strawberries take four hours to be ready for harvest, you\’ll get four harvests in a day if you wake up at 8 a.m. and go to bed at midnight.
Those four harvests will yield 2,240 coins if your crop field contains 16 plots, but not all of that is profit. You have to count the cost of the seeds and the cost of plowing — 25 coins per plot, 10 for the seeds and 15 for plowing — which brings the profit total down to 640 coins.
During levels 1-4, the best coin-makers are strawberries, at least in regard to the amount of coins made each hour. Specifically, strawberries earn 6.25 coins each hour. That\’s better than any of the other crops that are unlocked during levels 1-4: eggplants which earn 1.37 coins, wheat which earns 4 coins, soybeans which earn 2 and peanuts which earn 3.63. How is this all figured out? Simply subtract the seed cost of your crop from the amount you make when you harvest it, and then divide that by how many hours it takes before it\’s ready to be harvested. When you do this, though, make sure to remember that one Farmville day equals 23 hours, not 24 hours.
So far we\’ve only discussed one crop to grow, so you might be wondering when the actual crop rotation comes into play. The answer is while you\’re sleeping — you plant a different crop just before you go to bed, and the best one for the job is pumpkins. The reason behind this is that they mature after eight hours, so they\’ll be ready to harvest when you wake up.
There is one problem with this, though — pumpkins are only available at level five. However, the XP you get from all the strawberry harvests should help you get past this hurdle long before it\’s time to plant your pumpkins. In the nearly impossible chance that you don\’t reach level five in time, you can either opt to skip out on growing crops that night or to still plant strawberries and wake up after 7.5 hours to harvest them, since they rot in eight hours.
The Farmville crop rotation system maximizes how many coins your crops will make you in a week, but the actual number of coins you\’ll make is determined by the size of your farm. If you\’re planting on 16 plots like mentioned earlier, you\’ll make 7,056 coins in profit in a week. But if you plow as much land as possible and plant on all of it, you\’ll make 63,504 coins in a week.
When you reach level eight, you may want to switch to planting raspberries. They make more than double what strawberries make per hour — 13 coins — and it only takes them two hours to mature! This means they\’ll make a profit of 9,856 coins each week or more depending on how many plots in which you\’re planting and harvesting. The only downside is that raspberries require a higher time commitment than strawberries, but the extra coins should balance that out for you.
Maximizing the amount of coins you\’re making from your crops is simple when you\’re following this easy crop rotation system. Remember to follow these instructions, as discussed earlier: plant either strawberries or raspberries during the entire day, making sure to harvest them as soon as they\’re mature. Before you go to sleep, switch to pumpkins and plant them in all your plots. Once you wake up, harvest your crops and then repeat the whole process again. Way to go! You\’re now on the path to making huge amounts of coins in Farmville!
